Press Releases at BVG-Airflo Ltd 2004

BVG Airflo Group Ltd acquires Clifford James
1st Sep 2004
BVG Airflo Group Ltd announces that today it has acquired the well known footwear mail-order business Esher Mail Order Limited (Clifford James) for an undisclosed sum.

Clifford James is a long established supplier of comfort and quality footwear and clothing to its loyal customer base. A primary concern during the complex acquisition negotiation process was to enable Clifford James to continue to fulfil that function albeit under new management.

This aim has been achieved to the complete satisfaction of both parties to the extent that the Managing Director of Clifford James, who will be working closely with Iain Burgess, has expressed his pleasure at the outcome of the acquisition and its long term benefits for their staff, customers and suppliers.

Iain Burgess, Group Managing Director. 'Clifford James is a perfect fit to our existing mail-order operations which target the 55+ age group. Building on CJ's tremendous success we have some exciting plans to further develop the business building on the considerable synergies that exist between the two businesses. The group and our customers will in turn benefit from broader product ranges, lower costs and improved efficiencies.
